Our first time dining at Chart House and we really enjoyed it! I got the “Chart Your Couse” and thought it was a great deal for $57 (lobster bisque, prime rib, lava cake). The sea bass & crab risotto was also good, but I thought the prime rib was better. I really liked my Mango Mojito. Our server, L, was really nice!

We had an excellent time at the Chart House. All of our food was top quality and our server was one of the best I’ve ever had. He was very honest when we asked for recommendations and was helpful throughout the entire experience. Our waters never went empty, haha! I believe his name was either Jerry or Jeremy, though I could’ve misheard. For our appetizer we had the Shrimp Beignets. They were melt in the mouth and the chipotle aioli was very flavorful. My partner ordered the cucumber and honey mock-tail which was very refreshing. I ordered their espresso martini which was rich and strong. For our entrées, I had the Lamb Chops while my partner ordered the Lobster & Shrimp Carbonara. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I loved the added pomegranate for a burst of flavor with the gravy and mashed potato. The carbonara was wonderful. The lobster was plentiful in the pasta though the shrimp was a tad overcooked. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake which, as expected, was heavenly. A beautiful view with excellent food and high class service made our trip to North all the more special!

Chart House was once a luxury dining chain at premier locations in major cities, typically, on the waterfront. This location, like one other I visited in the Sarasota area, is maintained as well as possible given its age. The decor is dated and the food is acceptable but not great; however, prices remain very high. I ate alone and my bill was almost $70 for the Prime Rib dinner, which included salad (which was fresh) and dessert. A nice evening and the staff is attentive but there are much better options at this price point.

The chart house was great! L was a great waiter, he was attentive and gave us several re fills. I felt compelled to leave a review, as I was only in town for a few days and wanted to eat somewhere on the river, I tried one of the establishments next door and was told they wouldn’t seat me outside, the charthouse opened the outdoor seating even though my group were the only customers to ask to sit outside the night I went. Great service all around

Treated myself. It was all good! Quiet weeknight evening. Not over crowded. The staff were perfectly attentive. The food was delicious. I should take myself out more often.

Great experience for parents with two littles…one of the staff members brought our toddler strawberries while we waited and our waitress was amazing. It was a busy Friday night without a lapse in service. Nice river view.

The ambience of the restaurant was awesome, just overlooking the water. The presentation of the food was good too. I had the Salmon with a light cream sauce and the roasted vegetable. I also had the sunset beets, which was really delicious. Honestly, I enjoyed that the most. Ordered the mini lava cake, which was highly rated by the staff. It was good, but it may have been slightly overcooked as it there was not much "lava" remaining. Having said that, it would not deter me from coming again. Also, service was great too.
